Future Commanding Officers Visit to CFCC

On Wednesday 18 February, the current CO Desigs Course visited the Club for an in‑depth briefing with our CEO.
The session explored how the charity and the Club can support future Commanding Officers in balancing the operational demands of command with the wellbeing of their sailors, marines, and families.

The visit also provided a valuable opportunity for the charity to hear first-hand about the challenges currently facing the Royal Navy, ensuring we maintain a strong understanding of the realities of service life and time spent away from home.

Gaining this insight helps us continue to shape and refine the support packages we provide, enabling us to respond proactively to emerging needs. It also encourages discussion around future opportunities for collaboration and enhanced support.

These highly valued visits form a key part of our wider strategic engagement with our beneficiary community.

During the visit, the Commanding Officers also experienced the Club’s facilities and enjoyed a guided tour, giving them a broader understanding of the support and amenities available to their people.
