As an affiliated Unit, 47 Commando (Raiding Group) Royal Marines feels incredibly fortunate to have the support of the China Fleet Country Club, whose generosity has made a real difference to the morale of our people. By providing three two-day breaks throughout the year, we can reward individuals for the fantastic work they have done on operations around the world and in the UK.

Together with access to their Aqua Spa, which is available to all HMS DRAKE personnel, their generosity goes far beyond a simple gesture. It provides our people with something truly special — time to pause, to recharge, and to enjoy moments of harmony and wellbeing that otherwise can be challenging to find in a busy and committed Commando Unit.

These opportunities bring a sense of balance, allowing individuals to return refreshed, valued, and reconnected not only with themselves but also with those around them. The kindness and thoughtfulness shown by everyone at the China Fleet Country Club reflect a genuine care for people’s wellbeing, and that has an immeasurable impact.

We are deeply grateful for their continued support and for the way they invest in the happiness and harmony of our community. Their generosity touches lives in ways that last well beyond the interaction itself, and for that we cannot thank them enough.

Your Support Makes This Possible

Every donation to the China Fleet Trust helps us provide moments of calm after crisis, joy during training, and comfort for families. In the past year alone, we’ve supported over 48,000 visits and invested £2.1 million in services that directly benefit the Royal Navy and Royal Marines community.
